This series of steam turbines are used in simple and common, as well as combined three-pressure thermal cycles in capacities up to 400 MW. In the design of this turbine, two separate cylinders are used for the high and intermediate pressure (HP-IP) and low pressure (LP) sections. Other notable features of this series of steam turbines are:
• Ability to be installed and used in turbine halls with high and low ceilings
• Downwards/sideways design of the outlet steam path to achieve optimized arrangement
