The MST-10C is a 10 MW Steam turbine meant to combine with MGT-30 in 1x1 arrangement to increase the efficiency up to 48.5% in ISO conditions. The steam path incorporates reaction blades with the last stage blades specifically selected to have the least possible exhaust loss in different back pressures. The machine operates in a two-level pressure cycle with 40 bar for the main steam and 8 bar for the admission and is coupled with the Generator through a reduction gear to reduce the turbine speed (8000 rpm) to the required Generator speed (3000 rpm).
