Iran’s MAPNA Group participated in the 25th edition of POWER-GEN Asia event that took place from 19th to 21st of September 2017 in Thailand.
The event inaugurated last Tuesday at International Trade and Exhibition Centre in Bangkok.
This was the third time MAPNA Group took part in the event as an exhibitor. Representatives from investment, manufacturing, power, and communications & marketing divisions of MAPNA Group attended the exhibition to present the holding’s diverse range of solutions in the power sector.
MAPNA Group has been involved in power plant projects in Southeast Asia, including lifetime extension (LTE) of Belawan Power Plant in Medan, Indonesia.
The group signed a memorandum of understanding with Indonesia’s State Electricity Company (PLN) in Tehran in December 2016 as part of its efforts to play a larger role in Southeast Asian power market.
Known as the biggest power gathering of the continent, POWER-GEN Asia is part of the larger Asia Power Week event which also features a conference held in parallel, touching on diverse issues in the power industry.
Expert panels and conferences of this year were categorized under seven fields of: trends, projects and planning; digitalization, finance & investment; optimizing plant operation; power technologies; integration, storage and distributed generation; renewable energy strategy; and renewable energy technology.
More than 250 exhibitors showcased their solutions and products in the three-day event which attracted more than 8000 visitors.
The next edition of POWER-GEN Asia will be held in September 2018 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
