MAPNA Group received provisional acceptance certificate (PAC) following successful development of steam and power utility in Damavand utility plant.
Units 3 & 4 of the steam and power cogeneration plant were synchronized to the national grid on September 21st and October 31st respectively.
The PAC was delivered to MAPNA on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2017, following successful synchronization.
Damavand steam and power generation utility is located at Pars Special Economic Energy Zone in Asaluyeh, southern Iran, in vicinity of South Pars giant gas field.
Damavand Petrochemical Company is the client of the project and execution of the project is carried out by MAPNA Special Projects Construction & Development Company (MD-3).
The project includes design, construction, procurement, installation, test and commissioning of the equipment, among them two 162-MW turbo generators and two HRSG boilers each with a capacity of 330 tons per hour.
