The first steam unit of Parand Combined Cycle Power Plant received Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC) on Sunday, March 11, 2018.
The unit was synchronized to the national grid earlier on Monday, November 13, 2017 by MAPNA Group technicians.
Located 30 kilometers southwest of Tehran, Parand Combined Cycle Power Plant includes three steam units each with a capacity of 160 MWs, six heat recovery steam generators (HRSG), air-cooled condenser (ACC), 400kv substation and a 35-km transmission line.
The number of units which have been constructed by MAPNA Combined Cycle Power Plants Construction and Development (MD-2) and received Provisional Acceptance Certificate stands at 78, with an aggregate capacity of 11,729 megawatts.
